Whether it is made to look like a huge ice crevice or a waterfall, these works of art boggle my mind. I promise this is the last post were going to do about the Super Bowl. The Giants may have won the game, but what companies do you think won in terms of commercials?Earlier this week USA Today came out with a Facebook poll stating that the Doritos Baby ad was the most popular (Read the Article Here). Personally I think the best were the M&M ad and the Bud Light Rescue Dog.

The big game is only 2 days away, whether you are rooting for the Giants or the Patriots (or neither), one thing all of us can root for is some great new ads. The link above is a list compiled by MSNBC.com of the 10 best Super Bowl ads of all time. After your done taking a look at that check out the link below. Apparently companies are now releasing their new super bowl ads before the big game in order to generate buzz. Personally I like to be surprised while watching so I wont be checking them out, but for everyone interested below is a link to washingtontimes.com with a preview of some of commercials that will be premiering during the big game.

With the Super Bowl right around the corner, that also means the biggest day in advertising is also right around the corner. Companies shell out over a million dollars to get there spot shown during the big event. Millions and millions of people watch these ads, which means great exposure for the company. This is not always the case though. An ad can easily be remembered for how great it is, but one can be forgotten because of how terrible it is just as easy. Here is a list from BleacherReport counting down the 50 worst ads in Super Bowl history.

Claes is a Sweedish artist who grew up in America and is most famous for his extra large statues of everyday items. From ice cream cones (pictured above) to tooth brushes, Claes takes everyday items and makes huge sculptures out of them. The link above is a collection of his incredible sculptures. The video below is from the Whitney Museum talking about Claes’ “Giant BLT” sculpture.
