Booooooom.com is having a contest with MTV, Sony and Xperia ion and they are giving away $5,000 and some other cool things. What exactly is this contest? To win this contest you will have to use your imagination to create a new musical instrument. Once you have created your super original and creative musical instrument you simply submit a picture of it or a video of you playing it. Last week we had art made out of floppy disks, this week we have art made out of something a little bit more fun, Jelly Beans. Kristen Cumings, her website can be seen here, was contacted by Jelly Belly to become their official Jelly Bean Artist. The link above is some of her Jelly Bean pieces. The link above is a collection of 3D street art from oddee.com. 3D street art is exactly what it sounds like, a 3D painting drawn on pavement. Whether it is made to look like a huge ice crevice or a waterfall, these works of art boggle my mind.
